Install FFmpeg and FFplay on any PC

FFmpeg is generally easily installed by:

• Linux: apt install ffmpeg
• macOS: brew install ffmpeg
• Windows using winget: winget install --id=Gyan.FFmpeg

On Windows with WinGet, FFMPEG binaries are typically linked to the user’s local WinGet links directory, shown with

winget list Gyan.FFmpeg --details
